उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥

úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||

Wahai Indra, cabutlah Rakṣas sampai ke akar-akarnya; tebaslah bagian tengahnya dan penggallah bagian depannya. Engkau telah mengakhiri si kikir dan si bengkok; terhadap pembenci Brahman (sabda suci), Engkau telah menempa senjata yang menyala—mata tapas—untuk membinasakannya.
