Sukta 3.23
दश क्षिपः पूर्व्यं सीमजीजनन्त्सुजातं मातृषु प्रियम् । अग्निं स्तुहि दैववातं देवश्रवो यो जनानामसद्वशी ॥
dáśa kṣípaḥ pū́rvyaṃ sīm ajījanan su-jā́taṃ mātṛ́ṣu priyám | agníṃ stúhi daiva-vā́taṃ deva-śravo yó janā́nām ásad vaśī́ ||
Sepuluh penyalaan yang cepat telah melahirkannya—yang purba, yang terlahir baik, yang dikasihi di antara para Ibu. Pujilah Agni, wahai Devaśravas, yang digerakkan oleh para dewa, yang duduk sebagai penguasa atas bangsa-bangsa.
