मेधाकारं विदथस्य प्रसाधनमग्निं होतारं परिभूतमं मतिम् । तमिदर्भे हविष्या समानमित्तमिन्महे वृणते नान्यं त्वत् ॥

Transliteration

medhā-kāráṃ vidáthasya pra-sā́dhanam agníṃ hótāraṃ pari-bhūtámam matím | tám íd árbhe havíṣyā samānám ít tám ín mahé vṛṇate nā́nyaṃ tvát ||

Translation

Wahai Agni, pembentuk kecerdasan (medhākāra), penyempurna sidang (vidatha), Hotṛ, Kecerdasan yang paling melampaui—Dialah Yang Satu itu juga, yang kami pilih dalam persembahan, baik yang kecil maupun yang besar; tiada selain engkau yang kami ambil bagi karya agung kami.
