यो होतासीत्प्रथमो देवजुष्टो यं समाञ्जन्नाज्येना वृणानाः । स पतत्रीत्वरं स्था जगद्यच्छ्वात्रमग्निरकृणोज्जातवेदाः ॥

Transliteration

yo hotāsīt prathamo devajuṣṭo yaṃ samāñjann ājyena vṛṇānāḥ | sa patatrī tv araṃ sthā jagad yac chvātram agnir akṛṇoj jātavedāḥ ||

Translation

Dia yang menjadi hotṛ pertama, yang dikasihi para dewa, yang mereka urapi dengan ghee (ājya) ketika memilihnya—dia berdiri sebagai penggerak bersayap, cepat untuk karya; ketika Agni, Jātavedas, menjadikan dunia ini tempat tinggal yang layak bagi perjalanan bercahaya.
