निरिन्द्र भूम्या अधि वृत्रं जघन्थ निर्दिवः । सृजा मरुत्वतीरव जीवधन्या इमा अपोऽर्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥

nír indra bhū́myā ádhi vṛtráṃ jaghantha nír diváḥ | sṛjá marútvatīr áva jīvá-dhanyā imā́ apó ’rcann ánu sva-rā́jyam ||

Wahai Indra, engkau telah menumbangkan Vṛtra dan mengusirnya dari dasar bumi dan dari ketinggian langit. Lepaskanlah—turunkanlah ke dalam diri kami—air-air ini yang dipenuhi daya para Marut, air yang kaya akan harta kehidupan; semoga ia bercahaya di dalam kami, mengikuti kedaulatan-Mu yang meraja.
