स हि पुरू चिदोजसा विरुक्मता दीद्यानो भवति द्रुहंतरः परशुर्न द्रुहंतरः । वीळु चिद्यस्य समृतौ श्रुवद्वनेव यत्स्थिरम् । निःषहमाणो यमते नायते धन्वासहा नायते ॥
sá hí purū́ cid ójasā virúkmātā dī́dyāno bhávati druhantaráḥ paraśúr ná druhantaraḥ | vīḷú cid yásya sámṛtau śrúvad vánéva yát sthirám | niḥ-sáhamāṇo yamate ná āyate dhanvā-sáhā ná āyate ||
Sebab ia, bahkan dengan daya yang beraneka, berkilau laksana emas bercahaya, menjadi pemukul yang lebih dahsyat—bagaikan kapak, pemukul yang lebih dahsyat. Bahkan yang teguh pun, seperti pohon rimba, tunduk dalam benturan kepadanya; ia maju menekan, menaklukkan—ia tidak mundur; menaklukkan hamparan luas, ia tidak mundur.
