त्रिशिरा-प्रबोधनम् तथा नरान्तक-वधः
Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
ददाहहरिसैन्यानिवनानीवविभावसुः ।यावदुत्पाटयामासुर्वृक्षान्शैलान्वनौकसः ।।।।तावत्प्रासहताःपेतुर्वज्रकृत्ताइवाचलाः ।
dadāha hari-sainyāni vanānīva vibhāvasuḥ | yāvad utpāṭayāmāsur vṛkṣān śailān vanaukasaḥ || tāvat prāsa-hatāḥ petur vajra-kṛttā ivācalāḥ ||
Ia membakar pasukan Wanara bagaikan api melalap rimba. Ketika para penghuni hutan mulai mencabut pohon dan batu-batu gunung, mereka pun roboh dihantam tombak, laksana gunung terbelah oleh halilintar.
Uplifting his lance in the battle, Naranthaka consumed the Vanara troops as fire would burn up forests even before the Vanaras uprooted trees and rocks. many Vanaras fell like mountains hit by a thunderbolt.
