सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
सात्वंभवसुविस्रब्धाअनुमानैस्सुखोदयैः ।अहतौपश्यकाकुत्स्थौस्नेहादेतद्ब्र्रवीमिते ।।।।
sā tvaṃ bhava suvisrabdhā anumānaiḥ sukhodayaiḥ | ahatau paśya kākutsthau snehād etad bravīmi te ||
Maka tenanglah sepenuhnya oleh pertanda-pertanda baik ini; lihatlah, kedua putra Kakutstha itu tidak terluka. Karena kasih sayang, demikianlah aku berkata kepadamu.
"This army is not doubting, not perturbed also, that they are killed. They are guarding the Kakutsthas lovingly. I am telling you."
Dharma supports calming fear through grounded reasoning (anumāna) and benevolent speech—truth conveyed with care.
The speaker urges Sītā to trust the visible and inferential signs that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are not slain.
