शरबन्धनम् (The Binding by Arrows) / Indrajit’s Illusory Assault and the Vanaras’ Consolation
तमप्रतिकर्माणमप्रतिद्वन्द्वमाहवे ।ददर्शान्तर्हितंवीरंवरदानाद्विभीषणः ।।6.46.10।।तेजसायशसाचैवविक्रमेणचसम्युतम् ।
tam apratikarmāṇam apratidvandvam āhave | dadarśāntarhitaṃ vīraṃ varadānād vibhīṣaṇaḥ || 6.46.10 || tejasā yaśasā caiva vikrameṇa ca saṃyutam |
Berkat anugerah (vara) itu, Vibhīṣaṇa melihat sang pahlawan yang tersembunyi—Indrajit—yang tiada tanding dalam perang dan tiada bandingan dalam perbuatan; ia pun bersinar oleh tejas, termasyhur oleh yaśas, dan teguh dalam vikrama.
Brilliant and glorious Vibheeshana, capable of difficult deeds, incomparable at work, and in fight, unrivalled in battle, saw the hidden hero Indrajith by virtue of a boon (from Brahma).
