Transliteration

rāghavaḥ saha sainyena mudito nāma pupluve |

laṅkāṃ dadarśa guptāṃ vai sarvato rākṣasair vṛtām ||

Translation

Rāghava, bersama bala tentaranya dan dipenuhi keyakinan, maju lalu memandang Laṅkā—kota yang terjaga rapat dan dikepung rākṣasa dari segala penjuru.
