लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
राजाजयतिसुग्रीवइतिशब्दोमहानभूत् ।राजन्जयजयेत्युक्त्वास्वस्वनामकथान्ततः ।।।।
rājā jayati sugrīva iti śabdo mahān abhūt |
rājan jaya jayet yuktvā svasvanāma kathāntataḥ ||
Terdengarlah sorak besar: “Raja Sugrīva menang!” Dan dalam hiruk-pikuk perang mereka berseru, “Jaya, wahai Raja, jaya!” sambil menyebut nama masing-masing.
"May the vanara king,triumphant Sugriva be victorious", thus sounded the cry of vanaras in the battlefield.
