समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
एवं ते हरिशार्दूला गच्छन्तो बलदर्पिताः ।अपश्यंस्ते गिरिश्रेष्ठं सह्यं द्रुमालतायुतम् ।।6.4.37।।सरांसि च सुपुल्लानि तटाकानि वनानि च ।।6.4.38।।
evaṃ te hariśārdūlā gacchanto baladarpitāḥ | apaśyaṃs te giriśreṣṭhaṃ sahyaṃ drumālatāyutam || sarāṃsi ca supullāni taṭākāni vanāni ca ||
Demikianlah para vānar laksana harimau itu, bangga akan kekuatan mereka saat berjalan; mereka memandang Sahya, yang utama di antara gunung-gunung, penuh pepohonan dan sulur, juga danau-danau dengan padma mekar, telaga, dan hutan.
Those vanaras who were tigers among vanaras, proud of their might went to see (on their way) the Sahya Mountains, the foremost of the mountains with trees and creepers, lakes and ponds with fully blossomed lotuses.
