Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
नैवार्थेन न कामेनविक्रमेण न चाज्ञया ।शक्यादैवगतिर्लोकेनिवर्तयितुमुद्यता ।।।।
naivārthena na kāmena vikrameṇa na cājñayā | śakyā daivagatir loke nivartayitum udyatā ||
Di dunia ini, bila gerak takdir telah berjalan, ia tak dapat dipalingkan kembali—bukan oleh harta, bukan oleh nafsu keinginan, bukan oleh keperkasaan, bahkan bukan pula oleh titah raja.
"In the world, to change the divine course of action, it is not possible with wealth, or will or by prowess or king's orders."
Power and authority have limits; dharma calls for restraint early, because once consequences mature, they cannot be undone by force or command.
