Transliteration

iyaṃ hi pūrvaiḥ sandeṣṭā gatiḥ kṣatriya-sammatā |

kṣatriyo nihataḥ saṅkhye na śocya iti niścayaḥ ||

Translation

Inilah jalan yang diajarkan para leluhur dan disetujui bagi para kṣatriya: seorang kṣatriya yang gugur dalam pertempuran tidak patut diratapi—demikianlah ketetapan yang mantap.
