अंशुमान्—अश्वान्वेषणम्, दिशागजसंवादः, कपिलदाहवृत्तान्तः, गङ्गोपदेशः
Anshuman’s Search for the Horse and the Counsel to Bring Ganga
एवमुक्तोंऽशुमान्सम्यक् सगरेण महात्मना।धनुरादाय खड्गं च जगाम लघुविक्रम:।।।।
evam ukto ’ṃśumān samyak sagareṇa mahātmanā | dhanur ādāya khaḍgaṃ ca jagāma laghuvikramaḥ ||
Demikianlah, setelah diberi wejangan dengan sempurna oleh Mahātmā Sagara, Anśumān yang cekatan pun berangkat, membawa busur dan pedang.
The great lord of the earth (king Sagara) after performing the sacrifice reached his capital. (But) He could not devise any means to bring Ganga down to the earth.
