Melihat Gaṅgā yang bergelora oleh ombak dan pusaran, Rāma sang mahāratha berkata kepada sais Sumantra, “Malam ini kita bermalam di sini.”
Beholding river Ganga full of waves and whirlpools, the great chariot-warrior (Rama) said to Sumantra: We shall spend the night here.
Prudent dharma in action: Rāma assesses conditions (a powerful river at night) and chooses a safe, orderly halt—responsible leadership that protects companions.
After reaching the Gaṅgā, Rāma observes its strong currents and decides to camp for the night rather than attempt an immediate crossing.
Discernment (viveka) and care for others: Rāma’s decision prioritizes safety and disciplined travel.
