Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya

While that sinless Rama sleeps at night, the Moon will comfort him by touching him with cool beams like a father embracing his son.
It affirms trust in the moral order: the righteous are not abandoned; even nature becomes a source of care—encouraging dharmic courage over despair.
Sumitrā consoles Kausalyā by describing how the natural world itself will soothe and protect Rāma in the forest.
Sumitrā’s nurturing reassurance—transforming fear into faith and composure.
