आलोक्य तु महाप्राज्ञः परमाकुलचेतसम्।राममेवानुशोचन्तं सूतः प्राञ्जलिरासदत्।।।।

rāmam evānuśocantaṃ sūtaḥ prāñjalir āsadat ||

Melihat Rāma meratap, dengan batin yang amat gelisah, sang sais yang mahābijaksana mendekat dengan kedua tangan terkatup.
