Brahmin Right Conduct: Morning Remembrance, Bathing, Purification, and Tarpaṇa Method

विना मंत्रेण यत्स्नानं सर्वं तन्निष्फलं भवेत् । अमृतात्स्वादुतामेति संस्पर्शाच्च तिलस्य च

vinā maṃtreṇa yatsnānaṃ sarvaṃ tanniṣphalaṃ bhavet | amṛtātsvādutāmeti saṃsparśācca tilasya ca

Segala mandi yang dilakukan tanpa mantra menjadi sama sekali sia-sia. Namun dengan sentuhan wijen (tilā), ia memperoleh kemanisan—laksana nektar amṛta.
