Narada (teaching in a Dharma/Tirtha context; traditional dialogue frame with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that ritual acts or outward gifts do not yield post-death merit when driven by a corrupted intention; inner motive is decisive for sāṃparāyika (otherworldly) fruit.
By implication, it supports bhakti ethics: devotion must be sincere and pure-hearted; mere external display—symbolized by attractive coverings—cannot substitute for genuine inner dharma.
It indirectly reinforces the ritual principle (Kalpa/Smārta practice) that the validity of dāna and rites depends on right saṅkalpa (intention); without it, the promised phala does not manifest.
