Narada (teaching as part of Kali-yuga dharma guidance)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It defines Kali-yuga sadācāra: spiritual progress is protected by non-violence, truthful and gentle speech, and freedom from deceit—foundational restraints that support bhakti and inner purity.
Bhakti is not only ritual but character; avoiding harm, slander, and harsh speech preserves sattva and humility, making the heart fit for sustained devotion and remembrance of the Divine.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught; the verse instead stresses applied dharma—ethical discipline (yama-like restraints) that supports correct practice of mantra, vrata, and other Narada Purana rituals.
