The Greatness of the Gaṅgā (Gaṅgā-māhātmya): Saudāsa/Kalmāṣapāda’s Curse and Release
ब्राह्मण्युवाच । भो भो नृपतिशार्दूल त्राहि मां भयविह्वलाम् । प्राणप्रिय प्रदानेन कुरु पूर्णं मनोरथम् ॥ ५५ ॥
brāhmaṇyuvāca | bho bho nṛpatiśārdūla trāhi māṃ bhayavihvalām | prāṇapriya pradānena kuru pūrṇaṃ manoratham || 55 ||
Perempuan brāhmaṇa berkata: “Wahai harimau di antara para raja, selamatkan aku yang diliputi ketakutan. Dengan menganugerahkan yang lebih berharga daripada nyawa, penuhilah hasratku sepenuhnya.”
