Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative

प्रीतोऽस्मि तपसा तेन स्तोत्रेण च तवानघ । मनसा यदभिप्रेतं वरं वरय सुव्रत ॥ ९० ॥

prīto'smi tapasā tena stotreṇa ca tavānagha | manasā yadabhipretaṃ varaṃ varaya suvrata || 90 ||

Wahai yang tanpa noda, Aku berkenan oleh tapa dan kidung pujianmu. Wahai yang teguh berkaul suci, pilihlah anugerah yang sungguh diinginkan hatimu.
