Bhakti-Śraddhā-Ācāra-Māhātmya and the Commencement of the Mārkaṇḍeya Narrative
परिश्रियाभितत्पानां दम्भाचाररतात्मनाम् । मृषा तु कुर्वतां कर्म तेषां दूरतरो हरिः ॥ १५ ॥
pariśriyābhitatpānāṃ dambhācāraratātmanām | mṛṣā tu kurvatāṃ karma teṣāṃ dūrataro hariḥ || 15 ||
Mereka yang terbakar oleh derita duniawi namun tetap tenggelam dalam laku munafik, dan berbuat dengan tipu daya—bagi mereka Hari tetap sangat jauh.
