The Exposition of Spiritual Knowledge
Jñāna-pradarśanam
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links spiritual progress to three essentials: selfless service (paropakāra), single-pointed devotion to Hari (haripūjā), and guarding one’s mind by avoiding degrading company (mūrkha-samāgama).
Bhakti is presented as steady worship of Hari supported by purity of association; devotion thrives with compassionate action and declines when one keeps company that promotes ignorance and irreligion.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is dhārmic discipline—right conduct and right association as foundations for effective Hari-pūjā.
