FAQs

It teaches that the core spiritual discipline is to abandon kama and related inner impurities and to take refuge in worship of Hari; because Hari is all-pervading, pleasing Him harmonizes and sanctifies the whole of one’s life and world.

Bhakti here is defined as active service/worship of the imperishable Vishnu after giving up desire-driven tendencies; the verse emphasizes single-point devotion—when Hari is satisfied, all aims and supports are fulfilled.

No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical-ritual prioritization—direct worship of Vishnu (Hari) as the principal focus, supported by inner discipline (control of kama and allied faults).
