सर्वसंगपरित्यागी मैथुनेयस्तु वर्त्तते । स चंडालसमो ज्ञेयः सर्ववर्णबहिष्कृतः ॥ ८० ॥
sarvasaṃgaparityāgī maithuneyastu varttate | sa caṃḍālasamo jñeyaḥ sarvavarṇabahiṣkṛtaḥ || 80 ||
Sekalipun seseorang telah meninggalkan segala pergaulan duniawi, bila ia tetap hidup sebagai maithuneya (terikat pada kenikmatan seksual), ia patut dipandang setara caṇḍāla dan tersisih dari semua varṇa.
