Mokṣopāya: Bhakti-rooted Jñāna and the Aṣṭāṅga Yoga of Viṣṇu-Meditation
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links a subtle channel (iḍā nāḍī) with its cosmic presiding power (Chandra), showing that inner yogic processes are governed by devatā-principles and are not merely physical.
By identifying Chandra as the adhidevatā of iḍā, it encourages reverential awareness of divine governance within the body—supporting bhakti through inward contemplation and devatā-smaraṇa during practice.
It reflects technical śāstric mapping of inner channels to deities—often used alongside discipline of breath/recitation (śikṣā) and timing via lunar principle (candra-tattva) in ritual-yogic contexts.
