अध्ययनाध्यापनादून्वर्जयेत्संस्मरेद्धरिम् । ब्रह्मचारी भवेन्नित्यं गंधमाल्यादि वर्जयेत् ॥ १० ॥
adhyayanādhyāpanādūnvarjayetsaṃsmareddharim | brahmacārī bhavennityaṃ gaṃdhamālyādi varjayet || 10 ||
Ia hendaknya menjauhi hal-hal yang mengurangi belajar dan mengajar, serta senantiasa mengingat Hari. Ia harus selalu hidup sebagai brahmacārin dan menahan diri dari wewangian, rangkaian bunga, dan hiasan indriawi sejenisnya.
