FAQs

It presents tīrtha-snānā as a sanctified act: physical cleansing (bank and entry into water) is joined with inner reverence (praṇāma) and mantra-based invocation of sacred tīrthas, making the bath a consciously consecrated rite.

Bhakti is expressed through humility and reverence—bowing before entering and treating the waters as divine tīrthas to be invoked, not merely used—turning a routine act into worshipful purification.

It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure): preparing the site, placing darbha as a ritual implement, performing praṇāma, and doing āvāhana (invocation) as a formal step in snāna-vidhi.
