Pāpa-bheda, Naraka-yātanā, Mahāpātaka-vicāra, Atonement Limits, Daśa-vidhā Bhakti, and Gaṅgā as Final Remedy

ततः श्वानो विद्धदेहा भवेयुर्दशजन्मसु । आशताब्दं विट्कृमयः सर्पा द्वादशजन्मसु ॥ ५७ ॥

tataḥ śvāno viddhadehā bhaveyurdaśajanmasu | āśatābdaṃ viṭkṛmayaḥ sarpā dvādaśajanmasu || 57 ||

Sesudah itu mereka lahir sebagai anjing dengan tubuh yang tersiksa selama sepuluh kelahiran; selama seratus tahun menjadi cacing dalam kotoran, lalu lahir sebagai ular selama dua belas kelahiran.
