Vāmana’s Advent, Aditi’s Hymn, Bali’s Gift, and the Mahatmya of Bhū-dāna
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
The verse highlights the bhakti attitude of surrender: the devotee seeks clear instruction and commits to completing the Lord’s or guru’s assigned duty with inner resolve and enthusiasm.
Bhakti is shown as willing service (seva) grounded in obedience to divine command (ājñā) and joyful effort (utsāha), rather than self-willed action.
No specific Vedanga is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is dharmic discipline—seeking precise guidance and executing the assigned duty faithfully, which supports correct ritual and scriptural practice.
