abhīṣuṇa ṛtāvāhaṃ nyaṣīdannṛmaṇā api | caturvidhādbāhulakātpravṛtterapravṛttitaḥ || 18 ||
Melihat arus musim—yakni gerak waktu—orang bijak pun menahan diri dan duduk tenang; sebab dari tindakan dan tidak-bertindak timbul keberlimpahan yang berlebihan dalam empat macam, sehingga batin menjadi goyah.॥18॥
