Suta (narrating the Narada Purana discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It functions as a phala-śruti, declaring that even the synopsis (anukramaṇī) of the Nāradiya Purāṇa becomes spiritually fruitful when taught or heard attentively, yielding the merit that leads to svarga-gati.
It emphasizes śravaṇa (devotional hearing) and kīrtana/pravacana (speaking/expounding) done with ekāgratā (single-pointed mind), which are core bhakti practices for receiving Purāṇic wisdom and accruing spiritual merit.
The verse highlights the disciplined practice of śravaṇa with focused attention (vaika-citta), a practical method for preserving and transmitting śāstra; it is not a technical Vedāṅga instruction like vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa, but it reinforces the pedagogy of scriptural recitation and listening.
