Brāhma Purāṇānukramaṇikā
पुराणमेकमेवासीत्सर्वकल्पेषु मानद । चतुर्वर्गस्य बीजं च शतकोटिप्रविस्तरम् ॥ २२ ॥
purāṇamekamevāsītsarvakalpeṣu mānada | caturvargasya bījaṃ ca śatakoṭipravistaram || 22 ||
Wahai yang memuliakan, pada setiap kalpa mula-mula hanya ada satu Purāṇa; itulah benih empat tujuan hidup—dharma, artha, kāma, mokṣa—dan luasnya mencapai seratus krore.
