Vrata: Daurbhāgya-śamana-vrata (procedural detail)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links tīrtha-snānā (bathing at a sacred river) with śauca (ritual purity) and proper upacāra (offerings), teaching that worship is made efficacious by purity of place and suitable sacred flowers.
Bhakti here is expressed through disciplined, reverent service—bathing, maintaining cleanliness, and offering sanctified items—showing devotion as careful ritual participation rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure) and the dharmic principle of śauca—selecting offerings from a clean source and following correct post-snānā worship protocol.
