Narada (instructional narration within the vrata context, traditionally relayed in Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none (vrata-vidhi context; specific name not stated here)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links vrata (disciplined observance) with divine grace—seeking the pleasure of Viṣṇu’s beloved (Śrī/Lakṣmī)—and completes the rite through dāna (meritorious gifting) to qualified Vedic recipients.
Bhakti is expressed not only through inner intent but through structured worship: performing a vow to please the deity and offering sacred gifts respectfully, reinforcing humility and service to the divine and the dharmic community.
Ritual practicality is emphasized through recipient-qualification: “śrotriya” indicates a Veda-trained Brahmin, reflecting dharma-śāstric standards for proper dāna and correct completion of vrata rites.
