Narada (teaching in a vrata/ritual instruction context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that a vow is fulfilled not only by restraint but by correct completion—partaking in the prescribed way and sealing the observance with dāna (charity), which stabilizes the merit (puṇya) of the vrata.
By emphasizing disciplined observance and charitable offering, it frames devotion as practical worship: one completes the vow with humility and generosity, aligning action (karma) with devotional intent.
Ritual procedure (kalpa/vidhi) is implied: proper vrata-saṃpūrti includes prescribed consumption and structured dāna—here, specifically distributing the fruits to dvijas, even to a set of seven recipients.
