FAQs

This verse functions as an Anukramanika-style topic list, highlighting key modes of Vaiṣṇava upāsanā—devotion expressed through specific forms (Gopāla, Śrīdhara, Viṣṇu) and sacred symbols (Cakra), emphasizing that worship can be approached through multiple authorized ritual frameworks.

Bhakti is shown as concrete and practice-based: the devotee lovingly worships the Lord in approachable forms like Gopāla and Śrīdhara, and also honors His divine attributes and emblems (like Sudarśana), turning devotion into daily ritual remembrance (arcana) and reverence (pūjana).

The verse points to ritual application (kalpa-style practice): structured arcana/pūjā methods, including pañca-tattva worship and emblem-worship (cakrārcā), which belong to the practical domain of rites and procedures rather than abstract doctrine.
