Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
संहतानाञ्च वस्त्राणां प्रोक्षणात् सञ्चयस्य च । वल्कलानामशेषाणामम्बुमृच्छौचमिष्यते ॥
saṃhatānāñ ca vastrāṇāṃ prokṣaṇāt sañcayasya ca | valkalānām aśeṣāṇām ambumṛcchaucam iṣyate ||
Untuk pakaian yang terlipat/terikat dan untuk tumpukan persediaan, penyucian dilakukan dengan pemercikan. Bagi seluruh pakaian kulit kayu (valkala), penyucian ditetapkan dengan air dan tanah liat.
