Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
प्रणिपत्य ततः सोऽथ किमेतदिति विस्मितः ।
पप्रच्छ पितरं तात ! सोऽस्मै सम्यक् तदुक्तवान् ॥
praṇipatya tataḥ so 'tha kim etad iti vismitaḥ | papraccha pitaraṃ tāta! so 'smai samyak tad uktavān ||
Kemudian ia, dengan takjub, bersujud hormat dan bertanya kepada ayahnya, “Ayah, apakah ini?” Lalu sang ayah menjelaskannya kepadanya dengan tepat sebagaimana adanya.
