मम पुत्रा दुरात्मान: सर्वे मृत्युवशानुगा: । येषां युद्ध दुराधर्षै: पाण्डवै: प्रत्युपस्थितम्‌,मेरे सभी दुरात्मा पुत्र मृत्युके वशमें हो गये हैं; क्योंकि उनके सामने दुर्धर्ष वीर पाण्डवोंके साथ युद्ध करनेका अवसर उपस्थित हुआ है

mama putrā durātmānaḥ sarve mṛtyuvaśānugāḥ | yeṣāṃ yuddhaṃ durādharṣaiḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ pratyupasthitam ||

Waiśampāyana berkata: “Semua putraku yang berhati jahat telah jatuh ke dalam kuasa Maut, sebab kini di hadapan mereka terbentang pertempuran melawan para Pāṇḍava yang sukar ditaklukkan.”
