सह धौम्येन विद्वांसस्तथा पञ्च च पाण्डवा: । उत्थाय प्रययुर्वीरा: कृष्णामादाय धन्विन:,धौम्यसहित विद्वान् एवं वीर पाँचों पाण्डव द्रौपदीको साथ लिये धनुष धारण किये वहाँसे उठकर चल दिये
saha dhaumyena vidvāṁsas tathā pañca ca pāṇḍavāḥ | utthāya prayayur vīrāḥ kṛṣṇām ādāya dhanvinaḥ ||
Waiśampāyana berkata: Lalu kelima Pāṇḍava—bijaksana dan gagah—bangkit dan berangkat bersama Dhaumya, membawa Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) serta menggenggam busur mereka.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic readiness: the Pāṇḍavas move forward under the counsel of a learned priest (Dhaumya) while maintaining the duty of protection—especially of Draupadī—symbolized by bearing bows and proceeding with disciplined resolve.
After the preceding events of the chapter, the five Pāṇḍavas rise from their place and depart, accompanied by their priest Dhaumya, taking Draupadī with them; they go as armed archers, indicating alertness and preparedness for what lies ahead.
