tataḥ puruṣaśārdūlī pānīyaharaṇe gatau | tau dadarśa hatāu tatra bhrātarau śvetavāhanaḥ ||
Kemudian Svetavahana (Arjuna), ketika pergi mengambil air, melihat di sana kedua saudaranya yang laksana singa itu tergeletak terbunuh.
यक्ष उवाच
Even the mighty can fall through rash action; dharma requires discernment, restraint, and respect for warnings—otherwise one’s mistakes bring suffering first to one’s own circle.
Arjuna (called Śvetavāhana) goes to fetch water and discovers that two of his brothers who went earlier are lying dead at the spot, intensifying the crisis that leads into the Yakṣa’s testing.
