यद्येवैष्यति सायाह्वे यदि प्रातरथो निशि । यद्यर्थरात्रे भगवान्‌ न मे कोपं करिष्यति,ये पूजनीय ब्राह्मण यदि सायंकाल आवें, प्रातःकाल पधारें अथवा रात या आधीरातमें भी दर्शन दें, ये कभी भी मेरे मनमें क्रोध उत्पन्न नहीं कर सकेंगे--मैं हर समय इनकी समुचित सेवाके लिये प्रस्तुत रहूँगी

yadyaivaiṣyati sāyāhve yadi prātaratho niśi | yadyartharātre bhagavān na me kopaṃ kariṣyati ||

Bila brāhmaṇa yang patut dimuliakan itu datang pada senja, pada pagi hari, atau pada malam—bahkan pada tengah malam sekalipun—ia tidak akan membangkitkan amarah dalam diriku. Setiap saat aku akan siap memberikan pelayanan yang semestinya kepadanya.
