Shloka 5

भूयश्व शिरसा याचे प्रसाद्य च पुन: पुन: । इति ब्रवीमि तिग्मांशो त्वं तु मे क्षन्तुमहसि,प्रचण्ड किरणोंवाले देव! मैं पुन. आपके चरणोंमें मस्तक रखकर, आपको प्रसन्न करके बारंबार क्षमायाचना करता हूँ। इस समय मैं जो कुछ कहता हूँ, उसके लिये आप मुझे क्षमा करें

bhūyaś ca śirasā yāce prasādya ca punaḥ punaḥ | iti bravīmi tigmāṃśo tvaṃ tu me kṣantum arhasi ||

Wahai dewa bercahaya tajam, berulang kali kutundukkan kepala memohon perkenan-Mu dan berkali-kali memohon ampun. Maka demikianlah aku berkata, wahai yang bersinar tajam; ampunilah aku atas apa yang hendak kuucapkan.
