Dharma-pratyabhijñāna and Vara-pradāna (धर्मप्रत्यभिज्ञानम्—वरप्रदानम्)

ततः सर्वान्‌ द्विजान वृद्धान्‌ श्वश्रूं श्वशुरमेव च । अभिवाद्यानुपूरव्येण प्राउ्जलिनियता स्थिता,फिर सभी ब्राह्मणों, बड़े-बूढ़ों और सास-ससुरको क्रमश: प्रणाम करके वह नियमपूर्वक हाथ जोड़कर उनके सामने खड़ी रही

tataḥ sarvān dvijān vṛddhān śvaśrūṃ śvaśuram eva ca | abhivādyānupūrvyeṇa prāñjaliniyatā sthitā ||

Kemudian ia memberi hormat satu per satu kepada semua brahmana, para sesepuh, juga ibu mertua dan ayah mertua; lalu berdiri di hadapan mereka dengan kedua tangan terkatup, teguh dalam tata laku yang tertib.

Educational Q&A
