Inner anger is incompatible with true wisdom and radiance (tejas). A genuinely far-seeing and learned person is characterized by inner restraint; ethical strength is shown not by outward power but by the absence of inward wrath.
Yudhiṣṭhira is articulating a moral judgment about the nature of the truly wise and ‘tejasvī’ person, emphasizing that such a person does not entertain anger internally—framing self-mastery as a hallmark of dharmic character.
