स मास: पज्चरात्रेण पूर्णो भवितुम्ति । तत:ः श्रोष्यसि रामेण सहित: सुमहत् प्रियम्,“वह एक मास, जिसके समाप्त होनेतक वानरोंको लौट आना है, पाँच रातमें पूरा हो जायगा। तत्पश्चात् आप रामचन्द्रजेके साथ सीताका अत्यन्त प्रिय समाचार सुनेंगे”
sa māsaḥ pañcarātreṇa pūrṇo bhavitum iti | tataḥ śroṣyasi rāmeṇa sahitaḥ sumahat priyam |
Satu bulan itu—batas waktu kembalinya para wanara—akan genap hanya dalam lima malam. Sesudah itu, bersama Rama, engkau akan mendengar kabar yang amat menggembirakan dan sangat berharga, perihal Sītā.
