Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: “Wahai kekasih, sebagaimana Indra, raja para dewa, demikian pula aku memiliki hidangan surgawi untuk disantap dan dinikmati, serta beraneka minuman ilahi.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights that spiritual stature (such as that of a great sage) can confer access to divine provisions comparable to those of the gods, suggesting that inner attainment may rival worldly or celestial rank.
Mārkaṇḍeya addresses a woman respectfully and assures her that he can provide celestial foods and varied drinks, stating that his resources are like those of Indra, the king of the gods.
